Julie Demeter Darling

Julie Demeter Darling, LMSW

Trained in psychoanalytic social work, Jungian dream work and short-term, crisis solution-centered psychotherapies, I combine the modality that best suits a client's motivation, interests and concerns.

Individuals of all ages, nationalities, gender, and sexual orientation are welcomed. The populations I work with include individuals, couples, students as well as  extended and blended families.

My philosophy is to engage the client(s) in a journey of self discovery. Together, we look at lifelong patterns of behavior and communication that have not been helpful in coping, feeling or being successful in daily living.  After two  evaluative sessions, we will discuss and plan methods to uncover and practice ways to manage that are more meaningful, productive and hopeful.
